Hard Lines covers subjects I find interesting, useful or amusing with particular emphasis on interpreting the rapidly-evolving world of new/digital/social media for the non-tech-savvy and demystifying these new and incredibly useful communication tools.  I am a part-time lawyer with Cohen, Burns, Hard & Paul in West Hartford, CT, a Small Business Consultant, and an occasionally-at-home married mom of 3.

I provide Social Media services to individuals, small businesses, and non-profits, specializing in training, strategy and content creation.  I offer Workshops on all forms of Social Media — including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogging– for career development, marketing, platform-building, and fun.

In addition, I assist clients with Public Relations, including event planning, publicity, communications, press releases and article-writing.  I provide assistance with Business formation issues, Intellectual Property, Lease and Contract drafting, negotiation and review.

My undergraduate degree is from Cornell University where I majored in Anthropology and I have a J.D. from the  University of Michigan Law School.  I am admitted to the Connecticut Bar, am an avid reader, and enjoy writing, cooking, travel, gardening, walking, yoga and pilates.  I serve on the Avon, CT Zoning Board of Appeals and on the Friends of the Avon Library Board.
